Information: Is It Really a Magic Wand?

Information

Nowadays great amounts of information are usually accepted as the true answer to all probable questions. And life shows that it is not always so. Digital detritus turns into useful functioning results and it promises to become useful understanding of the data.

The high quality information will lead people to understanding of some modern ways of doing business, getting new knowledge, relaxing, manufacturing and even creating things. Users will definitely become more aware and knowledgeable than the ones before. Nowadays due to the technical revolution and various modifications the main things that change a lot in getting useful information are the sensor net, the scale of the system and the control of feedbacks.

There is a number of examples how to achieve success while using data correctly. When Nexus didn’t get the breakdown for its innovations and improvements, the company’s engineers continued working and spreading information wherever it was possible. And facing the truth it brought the results as now it is based on big data and also getting new users.

One more innovation is the collaboration of 25 MIT professors and researches with the Intel Science and Technology Center and CSAIL. The new project will cover such spheres as medicine, social media, security, and finance.

But the number is not always the same as the quality and users have to be attentive and even quite skeptical in getting big data. The co-director of the Wharton Customer Analytics Initiative at the University of Pennsylvania, Peter Fader, expresses the opinion that the data accepted from mobile phones won’t always lead users to better results. The point is that science data is not so scientific anymore and data is simply data and not always an essential useful information.
