Sony has released PRS-T1 reader
The novelty is not bigger than standard book in a soft cover, therefore this device can be easily located in a bag or in a pocket.
Thanks to ergonomic design the thickness is (8.9mm) and the light is (only 168 g) this device is very convenient for holding even in one hand.
Reading books became even more comfortable with the improved touch screen with possibility of control by two fingers. The screen on the basis of an E Ink Pearl electronic paper has high definition, high contrast and has no flares even under direct sunlight.
Sony Reader Wi-Fi supports a considerable quantity of formats, including popular for e-book readers EPUB and FB23 standards, and also widespread PDF and TXT formats. You can view a collection of digital photos on the screen of an e-book reader or connect earphones and listen to your favorite music while reading. You also can place a cover of the book which you now read, or your favorite photo as a screensaver while the book is in a waiting mode.
High capacity of the battery allows you to use an e-book reader within more than month without recharge (3 weeks under the condition with switched Wi-Fi). You can continue to read Sony Reader Wi-Fi during recharge of the device from the PC, without stopping reading your favorite book. As you see the book is designed to provide you comfortable reading process.
The 2 GB internal memory allows storing over 1,200 electronic books. Besides the built in memory you can expand it with the help of MicroSD memory cards.
