Sony Xperia S Users Will Have Several Updates
Users of the Sony Xperia S will not only get an update to their Android 4.0.4, i.e. Ice Cream Sandwich, but they will also observe some enhancements of listening to music (Walkman application), watching films (Movie application) and viewing photographs (Gracenote) via their phones.
Due to the updated Walkman application it will be easier to share tracks and find out what your pals have in their playlists. You will also be able to publish information about your favorite songs or albums through your Facebook account and get familiar with a band or a single artist via his fan page.
Gracenote allows you to load artist and album photos on the phone, which will help you to orientate yourself among countless numbers of unnamed tracks on your phone. The application will operate quicker when looking through images and video clips. As for users, they will also be able to view, leave comments and write posts on Facebook after they take a snapshot.
The Movie application will provide users with audio and imagery of high quality and the phone will be able to pull posters of films and some extra data saved on the Sony Xperia S.
As for the update of Android 4.0.4, Ice Cream Sandwich, Sony Xperia S users will have an ability to change the size of widgets, have access to apps downloaded recently through an on-screen button and consumption of control data.
The lock screen is going to be changed as well. It will be possible to add personal information, e.g. a name, and have access to the phone camera for one to grab occasional photos.
