The Verizon Galaxy Nexus Google-phone does not support Google Wallet payment system

This week some rumors appeared in the Network concerning particulars of forthcoming release of Nexus Galaxy Google-phone. According to the new information, the Nexus Galaxy Verizon sales have to begin on December.
Sources informed that the Verizon Galaxy Nexus does not support Google Wallet payment system. Besides, software updates will not be available for the smart phone. At once we note that rumors about absence of upgradeability Verizon Galaxy Nexus software appeared false according to representative of operator Jeffrey Nelson. At the same time, he confirmed that this version won’t support Google Wallet.

Because the fact that Verizon Galaxy of Nexus doesn’t support wide range of Google updatings hasn’t been explained, experts had started talking about blocking of Google Wallet application by the operator because of the preparation of the alternative Isis payment service based on NFC-technology. AT&T Telecommunication operators, as it is known, participate in this project. Moreover T-Mobile operator also takes part in this project.

The reason is considered to be other. In published by Verizon announcement it is informed that problems are connected with the smart phone hardware. Unlike other applications, the Google Wallet should be integrated into a component patented by the operator where the financial data, concerning the subscriber are stored. At the same time, the operator has informed that now he carries on negotiations with Google about it.
